This pic hangs above my treadmill now for inspiration. Back then I thought my thighs were too big.
1994-96 Anorexia
I thought starvation was the answer to weight loss. I weighed 117 lbs here. My normal weight is 135-145 lbs. My body hurt all the time, I'd get light headed and occasionally pass out. I fell into depression. I was not healthy.
1998 Pregnant with twins'
3 1/2 months of bed rest, 42 lb weight gain.

Two months later
I didn't know how to lose the weight. I'd try starving but didn't have the time or energy to be that obsessed over myself.
1999 One year later
Still heavy. I felt ugly and undeserving of anything good. I was embarrassed & ashamed of my body.
2000 After "Body for life"
I lost the weight through strict diet and intense exercise. I didn't enjoy the process at all.
a few months later
After going off the BFL diet, I fell back into old eating habits and quickly gained the weight back.
2001 Another round of "BFL"
I enjoyed it even less the 2nd time.
2002 Another dissappointment
Again, I went off the diet and gained all the weight back...only this time I gained even more.
2003 2nd pregnancy
(Pic taken at 5 months) 3 months of bed rest, 47 lb weight gain. A tube in my leg giving me meds...but it wasn't enough...

Defining moment in my life
I started 0-5 eating while staying at the Ronald McDonald House. I promised myself I'd never again take being able to move for granted.

2004 eight months later
I lost the weight eating anything I wanted. The pounds seemed to just melt away.

I easily maintained my normal weight with 0-5 eating.
2008 3rd pregnancy
4 months of bedrest, 60 lb weight gain. I seriously overate due to emotional issues I was dealing with. I topped the scales at 201 lbs.

She's my angel.
1 month later
Due to postpartum depression I continued overeating to numb myself. I finally pulled it together and returned to 0-5 eating four months after pregnancy.

10 mo. after 3rd pregnancy. Can't wear this in public yet but it shouldn't be long now!!

Here I am today, messy hair, no make-up, a bit older, a bit wiser... and loving my life!
